Wabash Kairos

The process of building the Christian community inside Wabash Valley Correctional Facility will continue this October.

42 inmates will experience God's love over the three and a half days thanks to a small army of volunteers. After the weekend, the participants will be encouraged to participate in weekly prayer and share groups like those formed after the first three weekends.

If you're interested in being a part of the team, read more about getting involved. If you cannot work this weekend, perhaps you could manage #6 that's scheduled for March 10-13, 2011.

As our cook, Sean Stevens, had just finished cleaning up the kitchen where he had been preparing the days meals, he walked to the back door and beheld an awesome move of God. The rainbow seen below was displayed during the exact time that the offenders were receiving their Agape letters.

Sunday we finished the weekend with a closing that showed how much God was working on the participants. Following are some quotes from the offenders:
